OPEN
Anna Ruby Falls is in the North Georgia mountains near the town
of Helen. It was one of the first places we visited when we first
moved to the Atlanta area in 1967. In 1980, we returned to
Atlanta and the area became, and still remains, one of our
favorite 'get away' spots. During our trips to the falls, one
country store always beckons us to stop--Fred's Famous
Peanuts. "Open" was painted because of the joy we always feel
when we stop for a soft drink and a bag of peanuts, and to
remind us that the same enjoyments awaits us when we make
the next trip.
OPEN is a watercolor, painted on 15" x 11" 300# cold press
paper. The original is part of a private collection and
not for sale. We do have giclee prints available.
