Certain plants make us think of the South and/or the

Southwest--particularly those of the flowering variety.  One of

these is the Rose of Sharon.

Rose of Sharon is a collage of watercolor and rice paper,

painted on 30" x 20" illustration board.  The original is

part of a private collection.
