Fancy Honey
Sometimes, I find an inspiration for a painting, but sometimes,
the painting finds me. "Fancy Honey" is one of the latter. I sold
a giclee print to a wonderful young couple at an art show. About
a month later, they contacted me to ask if I would consider
painting an old building they enjoyed seeing when they passed it
on their way to the Georgia coast. After seeing the photo they
sent me, my wife and I made our own trip to see the building.
When we found it, I could hardly wait to get back home
and start the painting. I am excited about the finished
painting. And the couple must be too, since they decided
to purchase it.
Fancy Honey is a watercolor on 22" x 15" 140# cold press
paper. The original has been purchased and is part of a
private collection.
Giclee prints are available.
Giclee reproductions are on archival paper. The colors of the giclee
are as close as possible to the original, however some differences
may occur. Images will be slightly smaller than paper size listed
below due to a minimum one inch border required for printing.
