This painting was done as a companion piece to another

watercolor titled "Marsh Madness."  That painting was inspired by

the sudden darkness that came over the marsh with the setting

of the sun and cacophony sounds that resulted.  "Countdown to

Marsh Madness,"  though developed from a photo that was taken

just a short time prior to the setting of the sun.  Then, there was

just a quiet anticipation of what was about to take place.

Countdown to Marsh Madness is a watercolor, painted on

15" x 11"  300# cold press paper.  Original has been sold.
