Marsh Madness
One summer evening, we were exploring the marshes outside of
Brunswick, Georgia. As the sun began to go down for the night,
we stopped the car on a narrow road to take some photos. Two
things happened together which became the inspiration for
"Marsh Madness." First, while the sky was still relatively bright,
the marsh waters and reeds became almost black. At the same
time, the area became 'alive' with a myriad of sounds. It felt like
every animal within hearing distance suddenly had the need to
make its presence known.
Marsh Madness is a watercolor, painted on
14" x 11" 300# cold press paper. The original has been sold.
However, we have a few giclee prints.
